Our client is a leading Pharmaceutical organisation with commercial office based in Dublin. They are currently seeking a Brand Manager (Neurology) on a 12 month contract. This position reports to the Business Unit Manager. The main remit will be to develop brand strategy and devise tactics to support overall objectives for the brand. The successful person shall effectively manage the brand to achieve maximum sales & margin.

• Set strategy in developing and implementing promotional plans for Products.
• Collaborate with Brand Team and In-Field Team members.
• Facilitate cross-stakeholder discussions (with Health Care Professional (HCP) and non HCP stakeholders) and synthesize the insights gained to identify target segments to determine brand positioning,
• Lead the development of marketing inputs to Strategic Brand Plan, consolidate the 1-year Tactical Brand Plan and coordinate preparation of the Long Range Plan to drive brand success.
• Expand the market through Innovative programmes.
• Opinion leader development, physician and patient education.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customers.
• Continually identify new opportunities and ways to better meet customer needs
• Provide direction and leadership for agencies on contract to our client maximizing & measuring performance and output.
• Understand the pharmaceutical industry & the future of the delivery of healthcare in Ireland and how it may impact business.
• If relevant, prepare proposed forecasts each month for products including forecast accuracy & Key Performance Indicator results.
• Understand & regularly update relevant commercial models to ensure accurate Plan and Update forecasting.
• Ensure timely product performance reporting through monthly report to relevant channels.
• Brand Team Leader for designated brands and actively drive Brand planning and brand management processes within the team.
• Play an active role in the Brand team, providing input for the marketing function.
• Ensure the patient journey is defined and consistently used/referenced by the Brand team.
• Bring the patient journeys to life through Marketing materials and campaigns
• Lead the tactical design and implementation of Marketing initiatives, to include:
-Innovative tactics to deliver holistic solutions
-Multi-channel opportunities to strengthen campaigns
-Multi-stakeholder initiatives
-Interactive & customised content for CLM
• Ensure all in-field materials, strategies and tactics are aligned in order to drive momentum of strategic brand objectives.
• Forecast, monitor brand KPIs, manage budget and brand P&L (if applicable), track ROI measurements for all marketing activities in order to achieve or exceed brand plan objectives.

• Experience in pharmaceutical industry, preferably in a sales capacity, Hospital sales, and/or Medical role considered.
• Relevant third level qualification.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage scientific information with experience in healthcare role to drive results.
• Superior relationship building experience.
• Healthcare marketing experience is preferred.
• 25% travel required with the role.
