Operations Manager
Our Wexford based client requires a Operations Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of the Manufacturing & Packing Departments for solid dose and liquids, operations and line management.

Responsibilities
• Achieve production targets on a daily basis, within set quality and productivity goals
• Implement a re-structure of the Manufacturing and Packing areas to provide optimum work-flow
• Continual assessment of the effectiveness of the Manufacturing and Packing Departments to include re-organisation of the area to ensure best work-flow practices are implemented
• Management of Manufacturing and Packing Departments to include mentoring and development as required
• Set goals and objectives for the team and motivate staff to achieve targets
• Ensure all Manufacturing and Packing operations are carried out in accordance with GMP ISO9001/ISO13485/ISO14001 and 18001 depending on regulatory and customer requirements
• Manage the weekly plan to ensure that all customer orders are planned, scheduled, monitored and fulfilled on time
• Support Maintenance through the development of all Quality Management and Health & Safety System standards such as ISO9001 and ISO4001
• Monitor and manage implementation of best practice Environmental, Health & Safety standards within the Departments
• Collaborate with all other departments to ensure optimum performance throughout the Company
• Engage continually in developing World Class practices while driving out costs, waste and inefficiencies
• Work to ensure highest level of team work and cooperation between departments at all times

Requirements
• Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Previous experience in Operational Management
• Previous people management experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
