Production Support Specialist
Our client, a global pharmaceutical company are currently recruiting for a Production Support Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will report directly in to the Operations Manager and will play a key in the Production team.

Responsibilities
• Represent Production in New Product and Process Introduction activities
• Act as Change Control Co-ordinator for Production
• Undertake investigations of process deviations and implementing process improvements
• Provide MES Support and act as Production EBR editor on MES
• Facilitate OpEx activities including A3 problem solving, team coaching and development
• Oversee and manage Production and process trials
• Participate in and contribute to multi-disciplinary project team work

Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience of working in a cGMP Pharmaceutical environment
• A 3rd level qualification in an Engineering or Science related discipline
• Excellent PC skills with proficiency in MES, OEE & ERP systems
• Experience in completing Continuous Improvement initiatives – ideally with 6Sigma Green Belt or similar background
• Experience in report writing, problem solving, conducting investigations, statistical analysis and project management - combined with excellent communication skills
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work in cross-functional team environments, as well as independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organisation skills
• Good IT skills
• Good decision-making skills
• The ability to be self-driven and working on own initiative but also be a team player
• Will be proactive and flexible
