About the Role:

  • The Quality Assurance Operations Manager will report into the site-based Head of Quality.

  • The role requires an individual with sufficient experience to grow into a leadership position within the organisation’s quality division on-site as well as throughout the organisations global operation.

  • The QA Operations Manager will oversee the internal and external quality regulations to ensure all finished products are produced in accordance with specified requirements.

  • This is a leadership position within the Quality Assurance Operations team of over 5 staff reporting into the QA Operations Manager and the Quality Assurance Operations Manager will support the growth and development of the QA Operations team.

  • This role focuses on the manufacturing operations as well as operations management function and the QA Operations Manager will ideally be a Qualified Person (QP) or be studying towards it and will provide QP support, manage activities and act as the QP on-site when required.

  • A science or quality degree or ideally Masters coupled with between seven to ten years’ experience in a quality and operations or manufacturing function within a highly regulated pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or possibly medical device environment is required, as is previous management or supervisory experience.
