Software Implementation Engineer
Our client, an Irish based scientific solutions provider, is seeking a Software Implementation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with LIMS systems and knowledge of validation of computer systems in GxP environment.

Responsibilities
• Supporting new and existing customer projects both on and off-site
• Assist in the installation, implementation and configuration of the LabX software
• A single point of contact for the efficient resolution of end user technical problems
• Assist the sales department during the sales process
• Developing a LabX helpline to handle customer queries
• Ensure timely implementation of software upgrades to existing installations
• Method development, which would entail the transfer of existing customer procedures into the LabX software

Requirements
• Bachelor or Masters in computer Science or related field
• Good knowledge of MS Operating systems
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Good knowledge of MS SQL Servers 2005 - 2014
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networks
• Good knowledge of root cause analysis and problem solving techniques
• Good customer service skills
• Strong technical background with aptitude to deal with customers face-to-face
• Capable of understanding user and process requirements and able to translate them into software solutions
