A Global Transparency Manager is currently required to join a leading multinational Pharmaceutical business in Cork. The focus of this role is to lead a team responsible for collecting and reporting global payments and other non cash transfers of value (e.g., business meals, airline tickets, etc.) provided to Health Care Providers (HCPs) and Health Care Organizations (HCOs) and external third parties as required to meet various legal and global industry trade group requirements.

The Role

  • Fully responsible and accountable to manage a team of 10-12 GLOBAL TRANSPARENCY employees
  • Successful delivery of global transparency activities and business process responsibilities
  • Supervision over HCP Contracting to Payment and HCP Meeting Support processes for in scope Europe countries.
  • Execution of internal controls and compliance – ensure rigorous process controls are embedded
  • Manage relationships and deliverables from multiple outsourced third party providers (Meeting Planning Companies) in the HCP Travel & Meetings processes.
  • Lead and implement process improvement projects and optimization opportunities related to the global transparency processes
  • Lead global transparency regional standardization, ensuring adherence across all affiliates to the new standard process design

The Person


  • University Degree on Accounting/Business or equivalent
  • Demonstrated knowledge of multinational Global Business Service, Shared Service or equivalent environment
  • Strong Leadership skills essential with previous people management experience
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls
  • European language an advantage
  • Experience working in a high production, fast paced environment
