Our client is a leader in industrial hygiene in the Food & Beverage Sectors globally. They are seeking an Account Technical Manager with a strong Food/Beverage Production or Quality background to manage assigned accounts in their Munster Territory. This is a super opportunity to make a move to a multisite role where you learn the business from the ground up and audit & advise customers on the best solutions for their production facilities. This role would be the first stage in building a long-term career within our client’s global organisation.

This role is a field-based position with home office working, mostly you will travel across your area and visit customers supporting their hygiene processing needs and delivering our clients hygiene solutions, applications and digital tools. You will be provided with a car, phone & laptop and all the training & tools required to be a sucessful in the role of managing your assigned accounts.
Role/Responsibilities:
- Deliver hygiene based Technical support and product optimisation within your area to customers, help create, capture and communicate hygiene quality improvements using our clients’ products & services.
- Through the alignment of these products / programmes / equipment and service value programs, support our client’s customer’s hygiene needs as a partner.
- To understand fully and deliver the value proposition of the F&B hygiene division both in broad terms of consistent hygiene quality at optimised usages.
- To use the F&B Global division to propose and to deliver added value to the customer, while managing effective relationships with key people on site.
- Utilise and realise the above to drive further sales in the territory through a combination of customer retention activities & value-added innovation in line with the strategic objectives and annual sales plan for our clients F&B division in Ireland
- Plan your work efficiently and safely at customer sites to deliver required technical service with value added activities / programs linked to the hygiene process.
- Understand and build long-term relationships with customers, introduce new hygiene programmes and our clients service programs & innovation like 3DT CIP, including management of field trials at the customer sites
- Advise & consult on hygiene performance, our client’s chemical product selection, technical problem solving and first level optimisation of cleaning process for customers with COP/CIP systems.
- Establish, verify & document proposed hygiene plans and their parameters.
- Support customers with routine and specialist hygiene concerns.
- Develop customer understanding delivering online, classroom & practical training.
- Promote and be an advocate of our clients H&S culture and reporting through Intelex
- Identify optimisation opportunities in the hygiene process and execute in line with Food Safety requirements and customer site teams.
- BSc or relevant degree
- 3-4 years Food/Beverage industry experience in either Production, Quality or Laboratory.
- Strong understanding of the hygiene standards required in Food/Beverage production facilities.
- Full, clean drivers’ licence
- Experience of report writing, auditing, CRM/database systems is desirable.
