Automation Engineer Permanent role


Our client based in the South West of Ireland is hiring multiple Automation engineers, at varying levels to join their expanding team. They are expanding their production facilities and are continuously bringing in new production lines.

Responsibilities:

  • You will work on continuous improvement projects to streamline and maximise capacity on production lines. Identify and lead cost and technical improvements under the departments’ continuous improvement program.
  • Your role will entail approximately 80% project/ day to day work and 20% solving production issues.
  • With this client you have the opportunity to work with the newest of technologies in PLC’s, vision systems, software development as well as demonstrate your own innovative ideas to the wider team.
  • Responsible for development, installation, and support of the automation control systems within a highly automated validated manufacturing plant.
  • Provide ideas and solutions for the improvement and development of control systems.
  • You will work with your manager / team leader to develop and implement strategic engineering Goals & Objectives.
  • Support the implementation of all engineering and plant strategic initiatives.

Essential details for this role:
  • Degree in engineering with hands-on industry experience in Automation manufacturing/ production lines.
  • Fluent English both aural and written is essential.

  • This role requires at least three days a week onsite- this is essential to the role.
