Summary

We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an award winning Medical Device organization based in Limerick. This is an excellent opening for anyone who is looking to join a leading multinational who are one of the best at what they do.

Duties

  • Responsible for all mechanical utility systems, projects, validation and on site coordination of activities and contractors in a regulated environment.
  • Management of the maintenance system and procedures and associated improvement projects
  • Provides technical engineering support to Water room and Facility technicians
  • Work with team leader to develop and implement strategic facilities engineering Goals & Objectives.
  • Support the implementation of all facilities engineering and plant strategic initiatives
  • Ensure effective closure on Quality System documents (Audit Actions, NCR’s, CAPA’s, CAIAs, etc) on utilities and facilities systems under their control.
  • Ensure all maintenance, process developments, change control and system improvements are managed in accordance with the Quality management system
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear identifiable work ethos within the team.
  • Develop and maintain a Credo & Behavioural Standards based culture within the group.
  • Project Management - provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities.
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams to provide facilities support on New Product Introduction/Research and Development projects.
  • Identify and lead cost and technical improvements under the departments’ continuous improvement program.



Education & Experience

  • 4/5 years experience in a similar role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in regulated industry, FDA, ISO, etc.
