An Ethics & Compliance Forensic Monitor is required to join a leading global pharmaceutical business based in Cork. Our client maintains a well-designed, implemented and enforced compliance program globally designed to be effective in preventing and detecting misconduct. The Ethics and Compliance (E&C) team leads assurance efforts for compliance with policies, procedures, and local industry code and regulations globally. Additionally, the E&C team partners with internal functional teams to drive the integration of high performance with high integrity through advising on specific activities and tactics and monitoring key risk areas associated with those business areas.
The Ethics and Compliance Forensic Monitor will be a part of a team responsible for monitoring business practices to evaluate adherence to policies, procedures, and local industry code and regulations globally.
The Role
- Develop a deep knowledge of known company risks, industry-wide risks and apply knowledge in monitoring of business practices using monitoring programs and protocol for specific business activities.
- Conduct forensic data analysis on identified transactions/transaction types to determine themes and/or identify risk areas.
- Coordinate with local E&C staff and business for investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions to remediate known issues and prevent recurrence.
- Lead and/or facilitate anti-bribery/anti-corruption (ABAC) assessments of third parties.
Basic Requirements:
- Proficiency in English language
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience as investigator, auditor or ethics and compliance monitor
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in Ireland
- Juris Doctorate or equivalent, OR CPA or equivalent, OR Certified Fraud Examiner
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel globally for monitoring purposes, up to 50%
