JJJP00015729 Facilities Readiness Engineer Limerick
The Equipment Readiness Lead is responsible for ensuring the smooth integration of new equipment and buildings into existing facilities. This role involves updating operating procedures, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, managing spare parts inventory, coordinating training, preparing preventive maintenance plans, and assisting with safety and documentation requirements. The Equipment Readiness Lead will collaborate closely with the Construction Management Team and various departments to facilitate a seamless transition from the construction stage to client ownership.
Responsibilities:
• Update existing Facilities Operating procedures to cover new equipment and buildings, ensuring that all necessary documentation is accurate and up to date.
• Identify and order spare parts for new Facilities Projects, maintaining an organized inventory to support ongoing operations and maintenance.
• Coordinate and check hand-over documents from suppliers and contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and smooth equipment integration.
• Coordinate and check As-Built drawings, verifying accuracy and completeness, and ensuring proper handover to the Facilities Department.
• Coordinate the training of technicians, maintaining training files for new Facilities Equipment and systems, and ensuring that all relevant personnel are adequately trained.
• Prepare preventive maintenance plans (PMs) for new equipment and upload them to Maximo or other relevant maintenance management systems.
• Assist with safety, commissioning, and qualification documentation for new equipment and buildings, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Support and complement the existing Construction Management Team in all aspects of the transfer from the construction stage to client ownership. This includes collaborating with Facilities, EH&S, Operations, and quality departments to ensure a smooth transition and sustainable ownership of new plant, equipment, and facility space.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in equipment readiness, facilities management, or a related role.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in documentation and procedures.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to equipment integration, safety, and documentation.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management systems (e.g., Maximo) and other relevant software tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Familiarity with construction processes and understanding of construction handover requirements.
