Field Service Engineer

My client assists their customers in the Pharmaceutical and Food industries to ensure Regulatory compliance. Their products and services include temperature/humidity mapping and monitoring systems and associated calibration and preventative maintenance services. Their reputation for quality and technical expertise has built a strong and loyal customer base.

They are looking for an independent, enthusiastic and experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team in supporting their customer base. You will be working primarily with their customer base on the island of Ireland however you will need to be available for occasional work in Europe including the UK. The work by its nature requires some overnight stays.

There is good variety in the work and the quality of their customer base ensures open customer engagement. All required training is provided and updated as necessary.

In This Role You Will
  • Install, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on Temperature/Humidity Monitoring Systems
  • Work with our Quality & Validation Team in the performance of Mapping Validation Studies on customer sites.
  • Provide timely input and updates to service records, reporting etc.
  • Comply with the organisations Quality System, good documentation practice, procedures and forms to GDP/GMP and Health & Safety requirements of both the company and their customers

Training: Full training will be provided

Role Requirements
  • You need to have 2 to 5 years’ experience as a Field Service Engineer
  • You need to have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • You need to be self-motivated, capable of working independently and have strong problem-solving/ trouble-shooting skills
  • A knowledge of SQL and/or IT qualification is desirable but not essential
  • You need to be comfortable working at height in Warehouses, Cold Rooms etc.
  • You need to have strong interpersonal skills
  • Full, clean drivers’ licence is essential
  • Authorised to work in Republic of Ireland
