Life Science Recruitment is a specialist science recruitment agency with a focus on the recruitment and selection of professionals for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, clinical research, medical device, engineering, connected health and life science sectors in Ireland. Our recruiters are all scientists and industry experts, which allows us to be uniquely placed to assist and guide candidates in their search for their next career move.

Due to continued growth we require a Recruitment Resourcer to join our busy team. In this newly created position, you will play a key role in enabling our high calibre team to meet their targets by providing valued resourcing and administrative support. The key focus of the role will be to undertake resourcing and administration duties that underpin the end to end recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide recruitment and administrative support to the recruitment team
  • Create, post and manage job adverts on various career websites in addition to assisting with advertising campaigns on other media such as publications and radio
  • To process job applications with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Filter incoming applications in line with the job criteria
  • Conduct pre-screen candidate telephone interviews
  • Input quality and accurate data to our database, ensuring this is up to date and maintained to a high standard
  • To obtain and document references for candidates in the recruitment process
  • Schedule meetings, interviews and events both internally and externally with a high level of detail
  • Create and maintain social media posts to promote our business and attract high calibre candidates
  • Maintain detailed structured records in line with our GDPR requirements
  • To drive a quality candidate and client experience recruitment process at all levels
  • Maintain written and verbal communications with candidates and clients as required
  • Any ad hoc projects which may be required
The Person
  • A Science Degree is essential
  • Experience in working in a customer facing role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Resilient and confident manner
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of the broader team
  • Excellent attention to detail with a solid work ethic
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in the use of Ms Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience with utilising social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, twitter etc.
  • A recruitment or agency background is preferable but not essential
  • Full fluency in English
