Our client is a young & vibrant life science reagents company with offices in Dublin & London. It offers over 120,000 kits, antibodies and assays to leading scientists around the World. It is a privately held company with global exports and operations in Ireland, UK, USA, Asia and Europe.

Due to expansion our client is seeking a full-time Sales Associate based in its Dublin office to join the sales team & help build a truly global Irish company. Working closely with the CEO and Sales Team Lead, the primary responsibilities involve prospecting for new customers to meet and exceed sales targets. Full training will be given to the successful candidate to maximise personal success and ensure the growth of the company.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting for new customers in key territories
  • Converting sales leads generated from business development activities
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers
  • Managing in-bound sales and marketing opportunities
  • Implementing and improving best-in-class sales processes
  • Maintaining and updating CRM
  • Creating digital and print marketing content as part of the marketing team
  • Maintaining technical knowledge through courses and in-house product training
  • Liaise with logistics and marketing functions
  • Follow our clients’ procedures and policies

Education/Experience:
  • BA/BSc in Science is required, with a strong preference for a Biology/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Microbiology/Immunology background
  • Min 1+ years Internal Scientific Sales Experience
  • Practical experience of Bioassays would be a major advantage
  • Possesses a high degree of customer service orientation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Is goal–oriented, is committed and has a strong desire for success
  • Qualifies proposals & quotes, and possesses excellent negotiating skills
  • Strong self confidence
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills
  • Has positive attitude about company and marketplace
  • Role is fully office based in Dublin city centre
