As Senior Supply Chain Planner you have a very important role to play in this pharmaceutical Company’s Logistics Department based in Dublin.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule all orders for production in ERP system and ensure MES system is in sync
  • Responsible for receipt forecasts for production from group and external customers & loading into ERP system
  • Co-ordination of Scheduling and Production to ensure compliance with standard lead-time and on-time deliveries
  • Liaise with purchasing department regarding receipt of materials for use in production
  • Liaise with production department re production of orders
  • Liaise with customer service regarding expected delivery dates for customer orders
  • Maintain and analyse metrics for the achievement of Scheduling and Production targets
  • Preparation of monthly reports to show volume trends and the impact on the plant. Preparation of reports to show the production shift requirement of the plant
  • Involvement in preparation of annual budget for volume & shift
  • Other tasks as directed (project work, data analysis, admin work)
  • Supervision of team members


SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate will have

  • Diploma or degree in relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 5-6 years experience in a similar role.
  • Strong previous experience in computer based MPS and MRP (SAP).
  • Experience in working in pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation.
  • Strong Excel & IT skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with a collaborative approach to work.
  • In-depth knowledge of Manufacturing, Planning & Control systems.
