Tooling Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
·Maintain inventory of all tools and equipment on the company’s internal system (IQMS) & ensure it is kept up to date
·Management of ordering of stock as required and inputting of this onto the system
·Identify any gaps in the current process and create efficiencies
·Record purchases, perform physical count of inventory, and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports
·Receive, unpack, and deliver goods; re-stock items as necessary
·Process and document returns (goods outwards) as required following established procedures
·Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry
·Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
·Dispose obsolete inventory as directed
·Ensure to keep Tooling Manager appraised of any shortages and inconsistencies
·Receiving: Booking of all stock receipts and services
·Daily consumption booking of Consumables and Shipping Supply items
·Management of all outward stock movements
·Careful unpacking and repacking of the goods/tool spares for exporting
·Management of all additions to stock
·Continuous stock monitoring, cycle counts and escalation of discrepancies
·Document all work carried out, including upgrades/repairs on existing equipment/tools
·Maintain the highest standards of hygiene and housekeeping
·Ensure highest Quality & Compliance standards, participating and complying with the Quality Management System
·Identify and generate opportunities for improvement and actively participate in the implementation of corrective action plans and continuous improvement initiatives
·Comply with all company policies and procedures, including quality requirements, financial controls, health and safety regulations, etc.

The above list of duties and responsibilities is not exhaustive, and the role holder may be required to carry out other duties which may reasonably be assigned by management.
It is essential that the successful candidate has a keen interest in the tooling department and;
·Good knowledge of MS-Office Products
·Excellent communication skills (Written & Verbal)
·Strong and positive people interaction skills
·The ability to meet deadlines and a commitment to customer service
·Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
·Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
·Database management skills.
·Ability to analyze and solve problems.
·Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
·Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
Experience:
·Up to 2yrs experience in a similar role
·LC or higher
·Strong IT skills and understanding of Microsoft office suite of products
·Good communication skills
·Ability to reconcile inventory
·Attention to detail

Possessing excellent interpersonal, teamwork, IT and communication skills, it is essential that The Tooling Inventory Coordinator works effectively with others to achieve challenging objectives. The Tooling Inventory Coordinator will be a self-starter, organized, result-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability and resilience to work under pressure.
