We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an award-winning Pharmaceutical organization based in Cork. This is an excellent position for anyone who is looking to join a leading multinational who are one of the best at what they do.



Duties:

  • Ensuring that all relevant company policies and standards, site procedures are adhered to and that all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Provide support to functions for Incident & accident investigation
  • Provides EHS support to the introduction of management of change process
  • Assist in the preparation, implementation and review of EHS Procedures and other EHS documents appropriate to the scope of site activities and in compliance with requirements.
  • Provide technical support for the site risk assessment / programme and assist in implementing appropriate control measures for identified risks.
  • Collating and reporting of EH&S metrics / KPIs
  • Develop, support and delivery of EHS training programs
  • Perform periodic walkdowns / audits / programme reviews to ensure compliance with safety and environmental permits, plans, policies and regulatory requirements.
  • This is not an exhaustive, comprehensive listing of job functions. May perform other duties as assigned.


Experience and Education:
  • 3rd level degree in EHS, science or engineering or other related discipline.
  • 3 years experience in an EHS role in a regulatory environment
  • Familiar with environmental management systems (ISO 14001) & health and safety management system (ISO 45001)
