Warehouse supervisor
Our client are a leading Irish distributer of Life Science & Surgical Equipment across Ireland. They are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team Tipperary. If you have 5+ years in Warehouse/supply chain management with a valid forklift drivers licence and strong knowledge of ERP systems please get in touch for further details. This role will report to the Warehouse & Facilities Manager. It is a fulltime permanent position on site.

Role/ Responsibities:

  • Supervision of Warehouse operatives in the warehouse manager’s absence
  • Receiving and checking goods inwards
  • Preparation of product shipments including use of courier company applications to manage collection and delivery.
  • Dry ice shipments; shipping and handling of dry ice products.
  • Operation and weekly inspection of Forklift.
  • Management of Instrument inspection
  • Management of loan instrument process.
  • Opera; good working knowledge of opera / ERP
  • Receipt of stock onto opera
  • Weekly stock checks and cycle counting.
  • Ensure shipments are shipped / delivered within validation
  • General warehouse up keep.
Education/Experience:
  • 5 years experience in supply chain / Warehouse
  • Valid forklift driver’s licence
  • Knowledge of cold chain validation
  • Experience of ERP systems is essential.
  • Good communication skills
  • PC Literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
