Market Expansion & Partner Engagement Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Our client is an expanding organisation in the life science reagents industry. They offer over 120,000 products, including ELISA, antibodies, assays, and proteins. They have established a robust network of distributors in over 80 countries, complemented by a significant direct sales force.

They are seeking a PhD qualified individual to join a strong team as the Life Science Market Expansion & Partner Engagement Manager. Reporting to the CEO this person shall be instrumental in driving our clients market presence and distributor success.

This role involves overseeing new product launches, strategic distributor management & sales support. As well as launching new products, you'll provide comprehensive training to our clients distributors, ensuring they are well-equipped to promote and sell their products effectively. Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with senior management, you will spearhead marketing initiatives and nurture strong partner relationships.

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Lead distributor management, sales support, and oversee product launches & management.
  • Provide comprehensive training to distributors on new and existing products.
  • Drive market expansion strategies to establish our client as a leader in the global market.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies, including digital and print materials.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key personnel in partner accounts.
  • Align company resources with partner objectives to enhance performance and satisfaction.
  • Proactively address partner needs and manage potential channel conflicts.
  • Engage regularly with global distributors, providing ongoing sales training and support.
  • Identify and onboard new distributors in key markets, converting sales leads from distributor activities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with distributors, managing sales, marketing, and product initiatives.
  • Monitor distributor performance, adjusting strategies based on KPIs.
  • Contribute to CRM maintenance and marketing content creation.
  • Stay updated with technical advancements and industry trends through ongoing training and courses.
Education/Experience:
  • A dynamic, scientifically proficient professional with a Ph.D.
  • Experience in distributor management or sales support is preferred, but not essential.
  • An outstanding communicator with robust presentation skills.
  • Committed to teamwork, capable of meeting deadlines in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Goal-oriented, driven, with a strong desire for success and a positive outlook.
  • Skilled in negotiation, decision-making, and strategic thinking.
  • Proficient in IT and conversant with standard work procedures and standards.
