Role Overview

The Production Planner is a pivotal link between customer requirements and manufacturing output. Working under the guidance of the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that the plant operates at peak efficiency. This involves meticulous scheduling, inventory management, and cross-departmental coordination to ensure every product meets strict quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating master production schedules that align with customer shipping deadlines
  • Managing work orders and ensuring data integrity within the ERP system.
  • Coordinating with Quality Control to ensure all formulas and batch specifications are accurate.
  • Generating purchase requisitions for all necessary raw materials and packaging components.
  • Conducting cycle counts and investigating inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintaining compliance with GMP and HACCP regulations at all times.
Required Experience
  • 2+ years of professional experience in production planning.
  • Demonstrable expertise in demand and forecast planning.
  • Proficiency in ERP/Inventory systems and high-level Excel skills.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (Food/FMCG preferred).
