Business Development Director
Our client are a premier pharmaceutical solutions provider helping global biopharma companies navigate complex regulatory landscapes, IMP supply chains, and commercial product launches across Europe and the UK. To support their continued expansion, they are currently recruiting for a Business Development Director to drive new client acquisition and build their market footprint. This role offers hybrid working (2 days on-site / 3 days remote) with some travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business: Proactively prospect, target, and secure new accounts to expand the pipeline.
  • Pipeline Management: Leverage CRM tools and your personal industry network to move leads through the sales cycle to successful closure.
  • Exceed Sales Targets: Meet and exceed revenue and deal-closure targets across designated territories.
  • Consultative Selling: Engage directly with clients to understand their needs across Regulatory, IMP, and commercial launch services, shaping customized solutions.
  • Account Growth: Nurture relationships with new and existing accounts to maximize long-term business value.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of proven solution/service-based sales experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Domain Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Regulatory Affairs, IMP, and commercial product launches.
  • Industry Network: Strong commercial understanding of CDMOs, packaging, and regulatory services with an active network of contacts.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with modern CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) and standard business software.
  • Education: Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Consultancy Background: Prior experience in regulatory consultancy is highly desirable.
