We’re currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity with an award-winning Pharmaceutical organization based in Dublin. This is an excellent position for anyone who is looking to join a leading multinational who are one of the best at what they do.
The role acts as the CI business partner for assigned areas, supporting deployment and sustainment of improvement routines in line with the site's management system. This role requires strong facilitation, coaching, data-analysis, stakeholder-management, and change-management capability. The role overlaps deliberately with Industrial Engineering on improvement identification, opportunity quantification, and implementation support, while retaining a strong emphasis on improvement systems, routines, coaching, and sustained adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assigned areas in daily management, standard work, structured problem solving, process confirmation, and improvement routines.
- Independently facilitate problem-solving sessions, workshops, and improvement activities with cross-functional groups.
- Coach Yellow Belt and Green Belt candidates, project sponsors, process owners, and team members on improvement tools, project governance, and sustainment.
- Promote productivity ideation and CI culture by identifying, scoping, proposing, and initiating improvement opportunities aligned with business priorities.
- Own and manage assigned process confirmations and the area process-confirmation schedule.
- Deliver assigned improvement projects from problem definition through implementation, benefit validation, control planning, and sustainment.
- Use data analysis to accelerate problem solving, understand KPI performance, identify drivers, and quantify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Industrial Engineering colleagues to understand relevant capacity models and use capacity insight to identify opportunities and quantify improvements.
- Liaise with CI and Business Performance Specialists to ensure valuable operational KPIs are reflected in digital dashboards and related performance tools.
- Support rapid process analysis and improvement using appropriate digital, automation, and AI-enabled tools where practical.
- Complete any other tasks or projects assigned by the Continuous Improvement and Industrial Engineering Lead.
Basic Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Operations Management, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar continuous improvement, operational excellence, manufacturing improvement, business process improvement, or project delivery role.
- Evidence of previous Lean and/or Six Sigma training and practical improvement project experience
- Exposure to both DMAIC and A3 problem-solving methods.
- Experience coaching project sponsors, belt candidates, process owners, or frontline teams.
- Experience building or supporting daily management routines, idea-management systems, process confirmation, standard work, CI governance, or improvement project portfolios.
